Product Review - Death Grips

A few weeks ago I received an invitation from a new company called Death Grips to try and review their new product for XBOX gamers. I checked out the Death Grips website and decided the product looked interesting, so I accepted their offer.

A few days later I received a box in the mail from Death Grips. Their concept seemed simple, make the XBOX 360 controller easier to grip, thus better to use, I liked this idea a lot. One of my favorite things about the original XBOX was the "Duke" controller that shipped with the unit. I never cared for the S controller that was much smaller, and was disappointed with the 360 controller when I got my first 360.

So, I was pretty interested in this product.

Out of the box, the product is fairly simple, you get two grips, with pre-stuck adhesive strips, extra strips, and some fairly straight forward instructions.

Here you can see the grips with their pre-installed adhesive strips, installation was pretty simple, but the backing can be tough to remove. I found a set if tweezers made it easier to pull up once you got a corner started. I cleaned the back of my controller with the included cleaning pad, and in less than 5 minutes I was up and running. My wife and kids were out of town for the weekend, so I was ready for some serious testing. 12 hours of straight gaming with these things. Playing Blur and Bioshock plus some arcade games. How were they?

At first the grips were a little uncomfortable, they push your hands to a slightly different grip. But after about an hour they got very comfortable. But the best part was when I quit playing after 12 hours, MY HANDS DID NOT HURT! Ever since I got my 360 I've had issues after long gaming sessions over 4 hours where my hands just ache when I am done playing. But using the Death Grips, I didn't have this problem.

I did the same thing the following day, with the same results. No pain, and I was more comfortable than I've ever been playing my XBOX 360. These things are great.

This pair of photos shows my black controller with Death Grips, and my white controller without. You can see the slight difference in how my hands sit on the controller, even though it is slight, it makes a really huge difference in how things feel.

After about 2 weeks, the left side adhesive gave out on me. Considering I play 2-3 hours per day during the week, and 4-8 hours on the weekend, these things saw some heavy use the first two weeks. Close to 80 hours I believe. So I looked at how the adhesive was originally applied and noted that the grips came off at the top and bottom first. I then used the extra strips supplied by Death Grips and created my own pattern you can see in the photo below. I've now been playing for about two more weeks, and the grip is holding steady, so this seems to be a better layout for the grip adhesive.

In conclusion - this is a great product, it makes holding the controller much more comfortable, improving your overall gaming experience. These retail for just $9.99, a very reasonable price to make your gaming experience better. If you are a frequent gamer, give these a try.

Last month I had some XBOX 360 256MB Memory Cards ordered through BUY.COM from one of their partners, Silverstone Wireless. These were supposed to be Brand New cards for $9.99 each with $3.99 each shipping and handling. I thought this would be a great deal for a discontinued product. Boy was I wrong.

Here is what arrived in the mail:

I paid $3.99 per unit or $7.98 for shipping and handling. Didn't get a padded envelope, didn't get anything better than First Class Parcel shipping, and the units are missing their protective carrying cases which Microsoft normally includes with every unit they ship. Clearly not brand new units.

Below is the packing list sent from Silverstone Wireless, clear stating NEW as the condition of the units.

So, I contacted BUY.COM, but they stated that they are not responsible for the veracity of what their embedded shops do, and would offer me no help with this issue. So, FIRST WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM BUY.COM sub vendors, you have no recourse with BUY.COM, and they DO NOT CARE if their vendors rip you off, it is not their problem.

So, next I contacted Silverstone Wireless, let them know what happened, and asked what they would do for me. Their offer is below:

That's right, if I lie, and say their store is great, they will give me $9.99. So, SECOND WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM SILVERSTONE WIRELESS, and DO NOT TRUST THEIR ONLINE REVIEWS, THEY PAY FOR THEM. That's right, if they are willing to pay me for a good review when they didn't do what they advertised, it is a safe bet I'm not the first person to be made this offer. Who knows what has been reviewed on their site under such a plan.

So, how do I know that these are really used and not new memory units? Check out this screen shot from the contents on one of the units:

How to keep your 360 Voice Streak

OK, I'm in third place for streaks at the 360 Voice Blog site. And I get a lot of questions, or see a lot of questions about keeping streaks alive. So, I thought I would share a bit of what it takes to keep a streak going, mine is now at 1025 days, the last time I didn't play was the day my twins were born, and the following day, June 26 & 27, 2006.

I've kept my streak alive through business travel, leisure travel, a hurricane that left my power out for 7 days, Internet connection interruptions, 3 failed XBOX 360s, and working 70 hours a week for a year at a start up company.

And let me just say, that the number one, most important thing about keeping my streak is a very understanding spouse. Second is a very supportive extended family.

This installment will cover my backup/travel rig. I've got some other cool toys and tricks I've used in a pinch, but I'll save those for another time.

I play, every day. The picture below is my main XBOX 360. It is less than a week old. It's brother was killed by a lightning storm last weekend. It was replaced on Monday at Best Buy with the extended service plan I bought. $40 well spent. Last Sunday night I had to swap it with my backup 360 to play and keep the streak alive. Barring this, there is a 24 hour Wal Mart less than 2 miles from my house, I would have gone and purchased an Arcade version if needed to play. This main unit is a Jasper MB Pro unit with the 60GB HDD. It also has the very limited edition PGR3 faceplate. I don't like to move this box around, so it rarely leaves the entertainment center.

This is my back system. It consists of a 20GB Falcon MB 360 system, a Lenovo Ideapad Netbook, a Sony Portable DVD Player that can also function as a video monitor, and a Blackberry with Bluetooth tethered Internet. I also have 2 150W DC to AC Inverters that I can use to power this system from a pair of cigarette lighters in a car or truck. All I need to play is gas in the tank of my car, and a cell signal and I can play to keep my streak alive.

Here you can see my secondary Live! account, Evol Dren is logged into XBOX Live! I have two friends online, and I'm ready to play. Profiles for this box are stored on a 64MB Memory card. I also have a Datel memory card reader so that I can regularly backup my profiles. Don't want a lost profile ruining my day.

Here you can see my Verizon Broadband connection, shared with my LAN port. I know a lot of people like to bridge with a laptop, but many providers are blocking this technique. I've found using Windows XP's built in Internet Connection Sharing" to be a much more consistently effective way to connect to live. You can do it with either the dial-up connection, or the WiFi connection when you are on the road, or visiting with friends.

The pretty orange cable is an Ethernet Crossover Cable. I also carry a standard cable in case I can plug directly to the Internet. The little black thing sticking out of the Netbook is a mini-USB dongle for the Lenovo mouse.

Here you see my Verizon Blackberry Storm, the WORST Blackberry ever made. At least it's G3 Web Access is very fast. It is tethered to the Netbook via a Targus mini Bluetooth dongle. One less cable to carry on the road is great. You can see the mini dongle on the front left corner of the Netbook.

The final picture if a view from the backside of this mess. I carry a 7 outlet power strip that has a 7 foot cord whenever I travel, never assume there will be enough outlets to plug things in the way you want. I use the video cable that came with my pro box, it can do both regular TV out and HDTV out. I've actually stayed in some hotels now with HDTVs where I could get to the inputs and play in HD on the road. I currently don't have a modulator for TVs that only accept an antenna input, instead I carry the DVD player, it can function as a monitor when I need, and it will plays DVDs on the plane or back seat of the car while traveling. A bonus in my book.

So, if you want to keep your streak going, you are going to have to plan, and be ready for things to break. Have a backup plan, and be ready to make it a priority when things fail. Things will fail.

Didn't think I was going to have a thing to post about today, then I met my new friend, AC Kills. He is a very special friend. He bought the copy of Call Of Duty: World At War that didn't come with tanks, or the weapons that can destroy tanks. I owned his team. Had more points than the first four of them combined, and I was only third in scoring that round.

He started crying after the round, "you guys suck..."

"Yes," I retorted, "I suck, I have more points than the first four members of your team combined. My strategy is terrible, yet my team won."

He says, "You guys were using tanks!"

"Sorry," I said, "I didn't buy the whiney, bitch ass version of the game that came without tanks. You should have done the same. Hey mommy, those men are shooting me with tanks and stuff!"

He didn't say a word after that, just left the room. Then he sent me a whiny XBOX Live Text Message:

Yep, not man enough to stand his ground in the room. For this, I sent him back a message with the link above and awarded him the Whiney Bitch Of The Night Award. Then thanked him for shopping at Dren Mart.

So, after that he sends me back the following message after I had already gone offline for the night:

Monday was my birthday, and I got a new XBOX 360 Pro. Not just any Pro, I hunted with my wife for a new Jasper Motherboard Pro unit. It took several days, we went to every Best Buy, Game Stop, Game Crazy and Circuit City in the area. When we got to the last Best Buy on Monday, I was resigned to getting an Arcade and the 60GB HDD kit. They had 10 Pros, and the 10th was a Jasper MB. Woot!

Well here is an interesting story that took place this evening....

I tried to email this to Microsoft, but could only send a condensed version as you are only allow 500 characters. What BS!!!!

Here's what happened.....

REF# _________In Nov 2007 we got the 3 red lights issue & called xbox & were told that our xbox required repair. We recd a REFURBISHED xbox360, from Microsoft. Now a year later we got the same 3 red lights. I spk2 a rep, Brye, who transfd me to a supervisor, Jeff C. He said due to microsoft's "tampering policy" (tampering policy? WTF does that mean?) we are unable to have our REFURBISHED xbox360 fixed. Jeff did not give an explanation of the violation. Serial# is: __________. Reference# ________ recd 11/25/08
My wife & I use this xbox360 & have been loyal xbox customers since 2002 including 2 live accts & numerous games.We have spent thousands of dollars on a console that we love. So I'm sure you can imagine how upset we are to hear that we are being accused of "tampering" with something on our xbox. We definitely do not appreciate being accused of something we did not do. Our xbox 360 is in need of repair &again, is a REFURBISHED xbox360 provided to us by microsoft. We have NEVER used any non-xbox/microsoft items on or in our xbox. So again, until someone can explain to me what exactly my wife and I are being accused of doing, I will expect this xbox360 be either repaired or replaced as we have done nothing wrong. Serial # on the REFURBISHED xbox360 is: _______. The Reference# _______ recd 11/25/08. I would appreciate it if someone would contact me to discuss this issue.

I was so mad that before I hung up the phone I told the customer service rep that I was going to smash my xbox and mail it into little pieces to Don Mattrick, not that she even knew who I was talking about. ARgh!!! Can you feel our frustration??? And after all of that we still don't know exactly what they are saying we are in violation of...And their customer service is HORRIBLE.

If you follow my blog, over at 360voice.com, you've probablly noticed I've played an excessive number of days of Call Of Duty 4. Recently my 360 decided that it didn't like the Call Of Duty 4 DVD being in the drive, and started making awful grinding sounds and then the game started loading slowly, then some maps would not load. When I took out the disc, it had circular scratchs going round and round. You know, the kind that Microsoft said it was impossible to create when the console first launched.

So I took the box to Game Crazy and swapped out out for a brand new box. I also had them polish my Call Of Duty 4 disc so it will play better. So far the new combination worked completely last night. Much better. And I got the box with the newer processor and heatsink, so maybe my third XBOX 360 will be the last one I need.

Challenge / Whoring Tips

Ok, I won a Tier 2 Old Spice Challenge for a 4000 Microsoft Points Card last week, and here are some tips to how I won.

1. I purposefully stacked some achievements before the challenged started. That is to say, I worked right up to the point where "Achievement Unlocked" would appear, then stopped. Then the first day of the challenge I grabbed them right up to have some quick, easy points. I even did a 20 point one before I went to work, just to be sure I was the first person to get some points.

2. I used a Hori Turbo Controller that I had picked up through Gaming Lagoon to get some arcade achievments. I also used this while playing as King Kong in the King Kong game. You have to beat the crap out of buttons on these levels, so I just went Turbo.

3. Movie games. Movie games. TV games. Movie games. Games aimed at kids are easy for the most part, sometimes time consuming, but very easy.

4. Lots of controllers. Played Fuzion Frenzy, used 4 controllers at once to avoid playing against AI. What's easier than AI on easy? Non-existent other players.

5. Save the easiest game for last. My case? A clearance copy of Avatar that I got at Target for $25. Someone else in our challenge did the same thing, but I was able to win by 35 points. I also scored the last points gotten in the challenge to go with the first points.

6. Arcade Games. These can be a source of 100 points here and there quickly to boost your score. Sponge Bob, Streets Of Rage, 3D Mini Golf were all played at the end by me and got me over the hump. All turned out to be fun games too.

The prefix that the hackers addes is xbox360news. This was probably never, ever a valid web site. The hackers have hacked and replaced the 404 Page Not Found error message with some custom java script that comes up as 404.jsp when you crawl the site.

From this site a script is run automatically. My Firewall vendor won't even let me look at the site, it is blocked as malicious when I try to draw up the script. The prefix of the site is acnetwor.flux. - this may be another hacked domain. Nonetheless, it runs the script on the victim PC.

While I can't tell you exactally what is happening, here are my thoughts on what is happening. Microsoft didn't put much security into the file system on the XBOX 360, certainly not a Firewall of any type, and I doubt the did anything to encrypt user data on the hard disk drives of the XBOX 360. The software kernel of the 360 is just some customized code from other Microsoft OSes, leaving it with the same well known venrubilities. A smart hacker could easily figure out how to exploit the XBOX 360, then create a fairly generic script to scan the local network, find the XBOX and pull and send the information. The whole process would probably take less than a minute, and certainly fewer than five minutes, long before you suspected antyhing was going on in your network.

This is a very scary prospect for XBOX 360 users. Be sure to call Microsoft @ 1-800-4MY-XBOX today to get your information protected with your secret question. Then tell them you want to open a ticket requesting that the security on the XBOX be improved.

We should also consider removing all the user information from our accounts on the XBOX as this information does not appear to be secure. Only placing it there if they requrie us, and then doing something to make it stand out oddly if ever used.

I've sent the info out to a buddy that might be able to figure things out a little further. Until then, be extra careful where you browse.

Do not load this site just to check it out, neither provided any information to the site, both had thier accounts stolen and their credit card # that was tied to the account was hijacked too.

I haven't spoken to them, but to Lady Death 13. Microsoft has informed them that they are SOL and can't have their accounts back. So be careful where you browse and to whom you provide information about your account.

Do not trust any communication from any of these gamertags. Check with myself or Lady Death 13 if you think you have a message from a new tag from either of these gamers, as we will verify the new tags they use when we know them.

HOW TO AVOID BEING A VICTIM. Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX, demand that they ask your CHALLENGE QUESTION first, before requesting any information. It took me half an hour to accomplish tonight. Be near a PC, you might have to log in and make some changes to your accounts.

Here are a few other things to consider with your Gamer Tag:

1. Don't put your location, name or any other relevant information in your Profile/Motto/Name/Location/Bio. Mine says, and will always say "tinyurl.com/36g3fv" "The Dren" "Sitting on the couch." Want to know more? Get to be my friend, earn my trust and I will tell you. I've had fellow gamers over to my house, and I've been to their houses.

2. Don't get on a real name basis with anyone till you have played with them a bunch. Treat this like online dating, don't reveal too much till you get to know folks pretty well.

3. If you play with a regular gang, it is OK to call everyone by their real name, but if a stranger comes into the room, revert to gamertags. I do this all the time with my clan.

4. Make some dummy e-mail accounts. I have about 4 throw away gmail accounts that are active I can use for verifications, but don't give away my good ones unless I am certain of where they are going.

5. Lie. A lot. I know this goes against everything your mother taught you growing up, but on the 'Net, it is the best way to survive. Filling out an online form, can't figure out why they would ever need your actual address, real name or actual phone #? Make something up, make it sound good, use itconsistently. I use an address on my street 10 higher than what my actual address is, a fake name like Jack Meauff, and an old phone # from years ago that no longer works. Only provide true information when you have to do so for some legitimate business. Lie for legit stuff like this thread suggests, never use your mother's maiden name, never use something that is related to you in any way, shape or form. My sister in law is a huge Harry Potter fan, she used Harry Potter related stuff for all her password. I crazy ex boyfriend used this basic knowledge to hack nearly everything she had setup online.

6. Be paranoid. Double or triple check everything you hear on the 'Net. Google it, check some forums, then look for another source, just to be safe. Just because you are parinoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

7. If it sounds to good to be true, it is probably too good to be true. No one is going to give you 1600 MS points in exchange for your name address and phone number. They will however, use that information to screw you over.

Ok, so I saw something along these lines in OXM magazine. I know I'm not the first, but this is still super cool.

Yesterday I made a trek to Toys 'R Us and picked up a Lego Mindstorms NXT Robot.

I came home last night and DID NOT READ ANY OF THE INSTRUCTIONS. I have been doing heavy duty Legos sinces I was about 10 years old. Over 30 years of experience, I don't need no stinkin' directions.

After an hour, I had a robot that looked like this:

Then I started to create the program in the Lego software and download it to the robot, it took about another hour, but I got it kicking ass and taking names.

Notice the purple rubber band holding the sticks together, this is so that I keep moving and don't get booted to Spectator Mode.

Right now I'm working on 1000 Dark Ops games. When that is done, I'll work on 1000 Killcount. Then on 1000 Rounds Survived if I don't have it already.

And before you judge, the Dark Ops games take a minimum of 3 minutes each, times the 900 I needed. This comes out to 2700 minutes or 45 hours. So I would never, ever get this any other way. The Killcount games seem to take a minimum of about 5 minutes. So it would be closer to 70 hours to get that achievement.

After that I have plans to modify the bot, and get the 10,000 miles driven in Ridge Racer 4. Then on to Bejeweled Endless Mode. I think the sky is the limit with stupid, repetitive tasks on getting achievements. Now I can play games and have fun, and let this bot do the mundane stuff while I sleep and go to work.

Went home on Tuesday, tried to start up the old 360 after the kiddos went to bed, but no luck for me, I'd been banned for 24 hours! WTF?

Seems they didn't like my Motto - "My Rectom Hertz" - which I had been using for at least a year and a half. Now my Motto is - "Code Of Conduct" - figure I'll leave it the way Microsoft set it for a while.

Oh, thanks to playing past Midnight the night before with Lady Death 13 on Gears Of War, my 360 Voice Streak stayed alive, I'm still #6 in the world. HAHA XBOX Live, how you like them apples?

Oh man, deadinside247 was totally in the gaming zone yesterday when he fired me up to play. 24,424 points of total gamerscore doesn't do his skills justice. He played Rainbow Six® Vegas, Soltrio Solitaire, and afterwards, there were some awkward stares and silence... you know how it is.

What is really good is that every day played is another chance to pull away from beardedtitan and that 6,177 score... Make it happen deadinside247!!

Hey guys, there are only a few 360 games on the list, but just a heads up that EA is dropping support for several games online this year. So, if you were going to go for some easy achievements online for these games, better get it done before the servers are killed.

And please keep this low level of customer service in mind the next time you are considering purchasing an EA game title.

Wohoo!

Venom sent me a message overnight that said PGR2 works now. So I took out my disc, slipped it into the console and PGR2 is up and running!

Only bad part - I have no profile, going to have to play the game to unlock all the cars it appears. Anyone out there with an Action Replay save or original XBOX save? I think I can get it converted to XBOX 360 with my Datel Kit.

I just logged into Live! I have my old Kudos rank of 51 - 10,603,452 Kudos, and only need to make it to 12,000,000 to get the next rank!

Anyone else still have this one? Looks like I found a way to boost some of the multiplayer achievements today.

1000 Points - Gotten by a player that suicides 50 times, take turns

4 Players - Capture The Flag - Unranked Match

Stage 1 -

Team 1 - 1 guy captures flag four times, 1 guy does NOTHING, just stand there
Team 2- suicide 15 times each

Stage 2 -

Team 1 - Guy who captured the flag kills Team 2 25 times, other guy do NOTHING
Team 2 - Run to your flag so it is easy for the other team to kill you

Stage 3 -

Team 1 - Guy who does nothing at Stage 1 suicides 50 times, other guy does nothing
Team 2 - Does Nothing

In stage 3, your Win points will be heading ever downward as you suicide, but at some point they will "Flip" and you will have 1000 points, instead of the negative total. It sometimes takes less than or more than the 50 suicides to get the 1000 points, so the player that is not suiciding should watch the scoreboard by hitting "Back" and tell the other when he gets the 1000 points.

After you get the 1000 points, just wait for the timer to expire, don't kill anyone, don't commit suicide, just wait for the timer to expire. The first time you do this, you will get 2-3 achievements if you haven't started getting the rank achievements in multiplayer.

You should be able to do this on a 20 minute game, so four players can each get 1000 points in and hour and twenty minutes.

The guys said there is another glitch that gets 6000 points, but they did not know it yet.

UPDATE 7-13-2007:

Ok, found this other 'Glitch' today, have not tried it yet, but it looks faster, maybe a 5 minute thing to try online with the gang.

You need four people, two on each team for this trick. Set the game to Arena CTF Endurance. The person who wants thepoints must score nine flags and achieve an in-game score of 101. Then, have his partner kill himself 100 times. Once this is done, the person who wanted the points will have 3,300 points. Let the timer run out and the points will register. Note: Do not score the last flag or the points will reset.

SINGLE WEAPON / LEVEL HINT:

After you finish with the last tower (the Data Processing Security tower) go to lift just right before the level exit and save the game. Keep this save game alive so you can farm this file. Pick a weapon in your inventory and exit the level. Upon loading the next map, do not change your weapon and proceed to kill the big monkey strogg enemy before you approach the tram and exit this map. Simply reload the save game from the Data Processing Security tower and repeat the tram map with each weapon and you'll bag all the achievements quickly.

It finally happened. My XBOX 360, purchased 12-29-2005, died Friday night.

I got in from a night of drinking, and wanted to play a little Rainbow Six Vegas, but the sucker kept locking up on me. So I unplugged all the cables, let it rest a while, plugged it back in, and it worked.

For ten minutes. Then it locked up again.

Then it would only display the 3 section Red Ring Of Death.

So I dug up my receipt, it was purchased at Game Crazy, with their extended 3 year warranty. I usually don't buy the warranty, but they wouldn't sell it to me without the warranty, and 360s were in such short supply then I really had no choice.

So at midnight I'm sitting there with my receipt, dead 360 and not much hope, figured I would be down for 7-14 days, my streak on 360 Voice would go away, and life would suck for the time being.

So I went to bed. Got up and called the local Game Crazy at 10 AM when they open. Explained my situation to Brian, who answered the phone. He said, bring the console on down, and we will swap it out for you. Huh? I asked if I should bring the HDD or anything else, and he said no, just the console and they would give me a new one in it's place.

So, a bit skeptical, I hopped in the shower and headed to Game Crazy. Brian looked at my receipt and my system, went to the back got a BRAND NEW XBOX 360 from stock and swapped it out for me.

This rocks, I can't say enough about a company that has good service, and this company has Great Service.

Microsoft, Best Buy, Circuit City, Game Stop, EB Games - you guys should all take notes on how this worked for me today - this is how a warranty exchange should happen on a product like this that is still in production.

Everyone else, I would highly recommend that you consider Game Crazy for your next console purchase and buy their warranty, they really stand behind what they sell.

Ok, at my in-laws last week I got to play Wii with my brother-in-law. It was allright. It would be very tedious to play all the time though. I can't imagine having to stand for all gameplay. There should really be an alternative to the Wimotes. Got a good video of my brother in law and one of his buddy's girlfriends playing the boxing game that comes with the Wii.

well I spent a fun filled day sitting around at the courthouse for jury duty yesterday until it came time to leave. I got in the elevator to go down to the first floor from the second floor (you need a pass card or something for the stairs..lol) and all of a sudden..the elevator doors close and starts to go, then it stops and buzzes. well, wouldn't you know, the darn thing got stuck. I was stuck in a tiny elevator with 13 other people, (yes you heard right, a total of 14 people jammed in the elevator) We were stuck there for 40 minutes while the police and firefighters tried to figure out how to get us out. The door wouldn't open so they decided they were going to try to lower it, that didn't work. A police officer joined us with some oxygen for a man that was having trouble breathing. That now brings the total to 15 people on this elevator. Then when the lowering idea didn't work, the firefighters and the cops decided they were going to bring us out of the top. So as they tried to move the panel for a larger opening, they busted the cord for the light which caused a huge spark and then the lights went out. They finally lowered a ladder and we all climbed out. What a fun day!!! The best part was when I had to call in tonight to see if I still had to report for Jury Duty again and guess what? I am on call for tomorrow!! Yay!! I'm going to ask if they can take me up the stairs this time.

Ok guys, I got up early this morning and went straight to Burger King to get the new BK Games releases for the 360. These things are $3.99 each, for the dreaded Limited Time Only. I got "Sneak King", "Big Bumpin'" and "Pocket Bike Racer". Everyone should at least get the last one, it looks like a really fun racing game, and supports up to 8 players on Live!

I'll try to post something later about these games once I play them. I'm off to work on my Father In Laws Home Theater for the day.
