NO Backwards Compatibility for PGR 2

I just read the new Xbox magazine. The Xbox 360 will not support backwards compatibilty for PGR2. Reason is that since there are new versions of games coming out for the 360, with better graphics, etc. There is no need to have the BC for those games.

I also read that if you purchase the pro 360, the $399 version will come with games pre-installed on the hard drive. Also with the purchase of the $399 version you'll get the Gold edition of Xbox live.

Anyways the new mag is out check it out, one of the guys at my work let me read it before i got mine in the mail.

All of the game demos are single player only, which sucks. Far Cry, Brothers-in-arms, Cold War, The suffering and a couple more.

LLAMMA's XBOX PAGE: Repair Diagnose & Modify the X-box

Ok, some of the mods on this page could keep you from XBOX Live. However, a lot of the MODS will just make your XBOX run faster/cooler/look cooler.

I'm looking to mod my controller soon. I'm going to add some buttons to the back side for Halo 2. Yeah, I'm that big a geek/dork.

I'm adding a toggle switch on the left side for the crouch position so I don't have to force the damn button down on levels that require much crouching. Then I'm going to add a button to the right side for melee attack so I don't have to take my thumb of the stick to punch Venom out all the time.

May even add one more button to jump a little extra here and there.

See, this is why I didn't want Halo 2, now I'm obsessed and thinking about modding my controller. This is valuable time I could have spent drinking or working on my car or thinking about naked women.

Even More Halo Moments

Ok, last night Venom, Gotten and I got really bored. I wondered if we could push all the crates on Elongation to the side and create a log jam. We did this, but then found out the crates don't continue to flow. Did this on the Blue side. So we tried and succeeded to push the red crates over the blue side as well. Man, were we bored.

How far?

How far have you driven a car? The only thing more outrageous than the # of miles I have driven in PGR2 could be the number of miles I have put on my actual 1998 Ford Contour SVT. Here is a picture from yesterday, check out the cool number on the Odometer.

This two on two game was a blast. Venom and I kept crouching, and the two kids we were playing against would not shut up, so we could hear them trying to sneak up on us even when they were crouching. Woho! We're number one!

Nice Try Guys, but you forgot to turn off the TV

Ladydeath 13, Beardedtitan tried to reset PGR2 controller settings to setting C. I changed it back. Also on Halo my controller settings were changed to SouthPaw.

NICE TRY GUYS, BUT YOU FAILED TO COMPLETE YOUR MISSION. And oh yeah i will change the settings on Burnout 3 as well.

We will have to do this again. Had a great time last night. How much do we owe you titan for liquor.

Note: To the rest of the clan, beware there is a war going on with the changing of the controller settings. Hide your controllers and you Xbox when we all come to your town.

P.s. now we don't trust anyone.......lol

Halo 2 Flying

This is the glitch we could not get to work the other night. From the Cheat - Halo 2 episode on G4 TV. Scroll down to "Multiplayer Flying Glitch". We should be able to get this to work, I think we were just not holding down the right trigger like it says.

Two Years Ago

Two years ago tonight, I thought I had kidney stones, and my wife took me to the hospital.

Next thing I remember is waking up and being told it was September.

Twice my wife was told to make plans for what to do with my remains.

I had less than a 5% chance of survival.

But I'm one tough son-of-a-bitch. I beat the disease. I got out so I could play Xbox Live with my homies.

Point of all this? Never, ever, give up hope. My wife never did, and I love her for fighting for me. Also, ask what the potential side effects of your perscriptions might be when you get them. Don't just blindly trust your doctors.

Saturday Night Deception Completed

Saturday Night

Aound 11:30pm it was time for titans daughter to go to bed. At that time Titan escorted his daughter up stair to make sure she it tucked in. Ladydeath13 & Mrs. TwobigCox turned on the Xbox, put in PGR2, and got a dirty disk error. I myself went up stair to the kitchen to finally finish off the bottle of Patron. Mrs. Twobig then comes up the stair to say tell titan to give me some more soda in my glass. Ok no problem. I say. Meanwhile Lady and Mrs Twobig are busy changing titans control settings for Pgr2. I was up in the Kitchen Bill comes in the kitchen and we finish off the bottle. I ask titan for more segram7 for the wife and he says no just more soda for her. i says ok. Then Mrs twobig comes up stairs and says it is done. And we all start laughing. At this point Titan went down the hall to check up on his daughter and We all met down stairs to play some halo2.

Sunday night:

After leaving from Titans home and getting in van heading down the street we all said I can't wait to hear Titans reaction when he can't figure out why he can't race. Later that Night when we finally get home. We turn on the Xbox and wait to see if Titan is on. Sure enough he pops in the room of PGR2. With out changing the Track Mrs. Twobig starts the race. 5 secs go by and the race starts. Mrs Twobig pulls off the line passing Titan. Titan not sure what is going on new something was wrong not sure what, pulls out the controler Twobig LAUGHING UNCONTROLABLY at this point almost to the point of tears, and one step from peeing her pants. Mrs Twobig a 1/4 of the way around the track says let's go back to the lobby, Titan pissed at this point finally figures out his controls normally controller set to default, Death changed it to controler C meaning he would have to push down on the right analog (gas) (right trigger) Brake.
